MANUFACTURE OF ORGANIC ELECTROLYTE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To adsorb and remove moisture and impurities in electrolyte by passing organic electrolyte through a filter filled with zeolite powder immediately before pouring in a battery. CONSTITUTION:A filter 2 filled with zeolite 1 is arranged upstream or downstream in a liquid pouring pump 4, and electrolyte is passed through the filter 2 before it is poured in a battery. Moisture and impurities in the electrolyte are adsorbed to the zeolite 1 while the electrolyte is passing through the filter 2 to prevent mixing of these impurities into a battery. Thereby, gas evolution within the battery and increase in internal resistance are retarded to produce a steady battery.
