A control system for a printing machine is disclosed, the system providing cyclically synchronous and sequentially correct control of functional groups by means of shift registers, which possess a timing input and an information input and to the outputs of which actuators for the actuation of the functional groups are connected. The shift registers, in one embodiment comprise interconnected control shift registers (1.1, 1.2) the timing inputs (Tp) of which are connected to a timing device (4) generating a plurality of periodic pulses per 360 DEG , and transfer shift registers (2.0,...) the timing inputs (Tu) of which are connected to a device (5) supplying one periodic pulse per 360 DEG . <IMAGE> |
