<p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent an engine from stopping, by detecting the baking force of a brake upon depression of a brake pedal on the road surface having a low frictional coefficient, such as, for example, a snow covered road surface so that a clutch is rapidly disengaged in accordance with the combination of the braking force and the rotational speed of an engine. CONSTITUTION:During a vehicle running, when a brake pedal 12 is depressed, and an air-pressure switch SW1 is turned on, a CPU 9a determines whether an SW4 having a maximum set pressure P4 is turned on or not, and if it is yes, a clutch release signal is delivered to an actuator 2 to release a clutch 2. Meanwhile, if it is not, it is determined whether an SW3 having a set pressure P3 (<P4) is turned on or not, and if it is yes while the rotational speed of an engine is lower than a set value A, the clutch 2 is released. Further, when the SW3 is turned off while a SW2 having a set pressures P2 (P3>P2>P1) is turned on, the clutch 2 is released if the rotational speed of the engine is lower than a set value B (<A).</p> |
