PURPOSE:To reduce a size variation at the time of chucking of a drive pin and to obtain a chucking device having the excellent interchangeability and the excellent reliability, by structuring it so that a projecting part is provided from a spindle hub body side and it contacts with the drive pin at the time of driving of a magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:The projecting part 1a is provided in a state that it contacts roughly with the drive pin from a spindle hub body side. The drive pin 5 is positioned in a through-hole 13 in a state that it is fixed to the free end side of a plate spring 3, and also, a magnet 6 is fitted into a groove 15. In a state that a magnetic disk is not installed, a gap W exists between the drive pin 5 and the projecting part 1a. When the center hub of the magnetic disk is installed to a spindle hub 1, force is applied to the plate spring 3 and it is bent, and the drive pin 5 contacts with the projecting part 1a. This small size variation of the gap W is not varied, even if the force applied to the drive pin 5 is varied, and within a range set in advance, the position of the drive pin can be held exactly.
