摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a developing speed and take accurately a measurement of the quantity of primary diffracted light by constituting an automatic developing device with an information disk which has the constant quantity of diffracted light. CONSTITUTION:An original glass disk 31 is applied uniformly with a developer from a nozzle 31 over the entire surface on the start of development. The original disk 31 is irradiated with the light beam of an HeNe laser 34 and its primary diffracted light is detected by a photodetector 35 to monitor the state of the development. When the development advances until the quantity of primary diffracted light attains to 90%, a development controller 36 opens a pure water valve 37, and water mixed with the developer through a mixer 38 is dripped on the original disk 31 from the nozzle 32. Therefore, the quantity of the primary diffracted light is measured accurately. Further, the advance of the development which occurs after the quantity of the primary diffracted light attains to the specific value and the dripping of the developer is stopped becomes extremely small. The development controller 36 closes a developer valve 39 when the quantity of primary diffracted light attains to the specific value. Simultaneously, the pure water valve 40 is opened to start cleaning operation.
