PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a bimetal-shaped camber, and to reproduce a minute pattern without generating the distortion of roundness and a track distortion, by forming a conductive film and a metallic film on both the front and rear sides of a glass master disk. CONSTITUTION:A photoresist 22 is applied to both faces of a glass substrate 21 by a spraying method, etc., and to this coated film, a minute pattern 22' is formed by a laser method, etc., by which a glass master disk 20 is obtained, also, on its master disk, a conductive film 23 is formed by a spattering method, etc., and furthermore, a metallic film 23 is formed simultaneously on the front and rear sides by means of eletrocasting. Thereafter, the conductive film 23 and the metallic film 24 are peeled off integrally from both the front and rear sides of the glass master disk 20, and a stamper is obtained by cleaning the photoresist 22. In this case, both the front and rear sides of the glass master disk are made conductive, and also a metallic film are formed simultaneously on both faces of the glass master disk by means of electrocasting.
