PURPOSE:To prevent the mechanical damage at the fitting part from occurring by a structure wherein the highly accurate positioning of a movable platen and a stationary platen becomes possible by supporting the movable plate freely shiftably radially with the sliding surfaces of reinforcing members. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing members 18 are provided between a mold-clamping flange 12 and a stationary platen facing to the flange 12, both of which are connected with tie rods 16 and clamping nuts 20 enabling to act the force in the direction to bring them close to each other. A movable platen 26 is axially guided freely slidably by means of the sliding surfaces 28a of the reinforcing member 18. The extension line of the sliding surface 28a of the reinforcing member 18 in the cross-section normal to the axis is made so as to intersect the center of the movable platen 26. Consequently, the reinforcing members 18 prevent the mold clamping flange 12 and the stationary platen 14 from deforming. In addition, because the movable platen 26 is supported by the sliding surfaces 28a of the reinforcing member 18, the positional accuracy of the movable platen 26 is ensured regardless of the deformation of the movable platen 26 due to the change of temperature. |
