PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a lens, one surface of which is spherical and the other surface of which is aspherical, by a method wherein photo-setting resin is interposed between a spherical lens and a transparent plate and cured and, after that, the transparent plate is removed. CONSTITUTION:One surface of a spherical lens 1 made of glass or transparent plastic is spherical. One surface of a transparent plate 3 made of glass, transparent plastic or the like is spherical. The opposite surface to the spherical surface 2 of the spherical lens 1 and the surface having the desired spherical surface of the transparent plate 3 are faced to each other having the certain fixed gap between them. Photo-setting resin 3 is interposed in the gap in the state that no void exists in the resin. Light is projected under the condition that the predetermined dimensions are held among the lens 1, the resin 4 and the transparent plate 3, while being closely contacted with one another so as to cure the resin in order to form a lens with one spherical surface and the other spherical surface by removing the transparent plate 3 after the resin is cured. Thus, the mass production of the above-mentioned lens becomes possible and its production time can be very short. |
