PURPOSE:To compact a speed adjusting device, by forming the speed adjusting device from plural speed adjusting condensers having plug blades as terminals and plug sockets, and connecting the plug sockets together in parallel one another and to a motor circuit in series. CONSTITUTION:Terminals 6 of condensers 5 for speed adjusting are formed in plug blades. The body 7 of a speed adjusting device is provided with plural plug sockets 8. The body 7 is connected in series to the motor circuit 1 of an electric fan via connection points on line A, A', and the condensers 5 are mutually connected in parallel one another. According to the increase of the number of the condensers, electric current of motor circuit 1 is limited so that the speed of the electric fan can be adjusted. Therefore, there is no need for a complicated internal wiring, and a simple construction can be obtained.
