PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise even when a sound data is in error consecutively by applying fade-out from the front part of the sound data causing an error, making an erroneous data silent and applying fade-in. CONSTITUTION:A sound data 11 is inputted at first in a memory 1, delayed by Tsec and becomes a data 12, and the result is fed to a signal processor 2. An error signal 14 representing an error of the sound data is inputted also to the signal processor 2 and when an error signal comes, the signal processor 2 starts fade-out to the sound data 12 and outputs the resulting data 13. The time for fade-out is Tsec the same as the delay time of the memory 1 and The data having an error actually is inputted to the signal processor 2 after the error signal 14 comes after Tsec because the signal is delayed by the memory 1. Thus, the erroneous data part is made silent. When an error is generated continuously in the data, the silent period is extended by the period corresponding to it and then fade-in is started.
