PURPOSE:To execute the off-set adjustment of the reading circuit part at a low cost and easily by counting the output pulse from the reading circuit part corresponding to the clock pulse and detecting the pulse interval. CONSTITUTION:A constant signal pattern is supplied from an oscillating device 1 to a reading circuit part, converted to the pulse train and given to a pulse interval detecting circuit 19. At the circuit 19, the input pulse is counted by using the clock pulse by a counter 12, when the counting output is decided to be within the prescribed scope by comparators 13 and 14, both obtain an 'H' signal output, an FF 17 is set through an AND circuit by respective 'H' signals and an LED 18 is made to light up by the output. In such a case, a resistance 6 for adjusting the off-setting of the reading circuit part is variable, the contents of the counter 12 are set to the constant value, and then, the completion of the adjustment is confirmed by the lighting up of an LED 18.
