PURPOSE:To increase the amplitude of output voltage and to enhance sensitivity to input magnetic flux and an input signal current, by providing an inductance loop on the main coil in a state magnetically coupled with said coil. CONSTITUTION:A spiral input coil and a modulation coil 3 are arranged on a main coil 1 through an insulating layer and an upper electrode 4 is provided to both terminals of the main coil 1 and the main coil 1 and the upper electrode 4 constitute one superconductive ring. A pair of Josephson junctions formed between the main coil 1 and the upper electrode 4 are provided in the superconductive ring and an inductance loop 23 is further provided on the main coil 1. The impedance of the main coil 1 to the AC current generated by two Josephson junctions is reduced in the presence of the inductance loop 23 magnetically coupled with the main coil 1 and the amplitude of output voltage becomes large. By this method, the sensitivity to input magnetic flux or a signal current is enhanced.
