PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp printed image with a dry process by coating microcapsules each contg. a photopolymerizable monomer on a base, exposing the coating, superposing the base on a substrate having a hydrophilic surface, pressing both and exposing the entire surface of the substrate transferred with the monomer. CONSTITUTION:This process for production consists in coating the microcapsules each contg. the photopolymerizable monomer on the base, exposing an image onto the coated layer surface, superposing the base on the substrate having the hydrophilic surface upon curing of the capsules in the exposed part, pressing both to transfer the photopolymerizable monomer in the capsules in the unexposed part onto the substrate and exposing the entire surface of the substrate transferred with said polymer. The photopolymerizable monomer is exemplified by, for example, a compd. having an acryloyl group, etc. The monomer has usually absorption in <=300mm UV part and therefore the combination use of said monomer with such a photosensitive material which absorbs UV - visible light and polymerizes the monomer is more preferable to provide the photosensitivity to UV - visible light sources. An example thereof includes a material known generally as a photopolymn. initiator and is exemplified by an arom. ketone, etc. |
