PURPOSE:To obtain electrodes having sufficiently great bonding strength with a piezo-electric ceramic tube and free of damage to the original expansible actin of the piezo-electric ceramic tube by a method in which the thickness of the conductor-soldered portion of the electrode is made greater than that of the other portion. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 4a and 4b are connected with conductors 5a and 5b by soldering, and the conductors 5a and 5b are connected to a power source. The thickness of the portions 6a and 6b where the conductors 5a and 5b are soldered is made greater than that of the other electrode portion, and thereby the bonding strength between the piezo-electric ceramic tube and the electrodes 4a and 4b is so raised that the electrode portion is not separated even when the conductors 5a and 5b are soldered to the portions 6a and 6b. The thickness of portions 4a and 4b where the conductors are not connected in the electrodes can thus be made smaller to 1mum or less. Therefore, since the expandable action of the tube 3 is not interrupted, it is possible to cause great displacement even at low voltage. |
