PURPOSE:To permit the work with high efficiency by permitting a workpiece to be applied with a variety of machining on the nearly all surfaces without mounting, demounting, and replacing tools one by one. CONSTITUTION:Each of the first and the second transfer mechanisms A and D which cross at right angles each other has a fixing pin 63 for fitting and fixing a workpiece M and a positioning pin 64 at the position corresponding to a penetration hole (in proper form) for a tool and a through-hole formed onto the workpiece M for the installation of the workpiece M. A guide having a groove for fitting the side edge part of a jig N having the cutting-in grooves 58 and 59 on the side edge part is arranged. Jigs are simultaneously transferred by a certain distance along the guide and fixed at a plurality of working positions arranged at certain intervals. In this state, prescribed works are carried-out at once by the machining units in all directions, and a mechanism for revolution- transferring the jigs is installed between the both transfer mechanisms. Therefore, the necessity of mounting, demounting and replacing the workpieces one by one onto the jigs is obviated, and the work having high efficiency is permitted. |
