A rumen bolus comprises a plurality of water soluble glass discs secured in a cylindrical stack by an adherent insoluble coating applied to the cylindrical surface of the stack. Nutrient and/or therapeutic material are released from the glass discs by dissolution of the exposed end faces of the stack. |
