<p>A system for fastening cable (96) to a support surface (98) using an insulated, protective housing (10) that has surface penetrating fastening devices (18,20) mounted thereon in such a manner so as to allow a multiplicity of housings (10) to be positioned, discharged and applied in a uniform automated process. An applicator (22) has a base plate (82) with a slot (83) that cooperates to position the housings (10) slightly above the support surface (98) with a portion of the cable (96) passing through the slot (83).</p> |
