PURPOSE:To realize an electronic device with high reliability by allowing a storage device to continue the access processing of a series of information without intermission of information when the storage device is removed during the access. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU12 outputs a high level signal from a terminal A and obtains a low level output from an AND gate 16 in the mounting state of a RAM card, an address of a RAM34 is designated while being incremented sequentially by 1 via an address counter 14 so as to access the information via a data bus DB. When the RAM card is removed, a level of an input terminal I1 of the AND gate 16 goes to high level, the level of the output terminal goes to a low level, the CPU12 detects it so as to stop the processing and decrease the value of the address counter 14 by 1. When the RAM card is mounted again and the level of the terminal I1 reaches a low level, the CPU 12 detects it and restarts the processing so as to continue the access to the RAM34. |
