PURPOSE:An inexpensive adhesive composition having a good adhesion, comprising a saponified ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer with a specific ethylene content, asphalt and a polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising (A) 10-90wt% of a saponified ethylene vinyl ester copolymer with an ethylene content of 35-95wt%, and a saponification degree >=5%, (B) 10-50wt% of asphalt which is natural, straight, or blown asphalt alone or their mixture, and (C) 0-80wt% of polyolefin, e.g. polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, or polypropylene. The adhesive has improved adhesiveness to a metal, e.g. aluminum. |
