PURPOSE:To achieve low fuel consumption rate irrespectively of ambient conditions of engine, load rate and variation of the characteristics of fuel oil by regulating the timing of fuel cam such that the difference between the actually measured level and the planned level of the maximum intube pressure will be corrected. CONSTITUTION:The pressure in respective cylinder of engine is detected through a detector 1 and fed to an arythmetic unit 2. Said unit 2 will display inner pressure distribution of respective cylinder while calculate the average level of the maximum pressures to plot the actually measured levels onto the previously inputted master curve of planned maximum pressure in cylinder thus to calculate the differential pressure. Timing regulation value necessary for correcting the pressure difference is determined and fed as a signal to timing correction unit 3. Said unit 3 is comprised of receiving/functioning mechanisms to perform modification of timing of fuel pump matching with receiving regulation value.
