PURPOSE:To find out a setting miss in a cassette so early and accurately, by installing a guide part, which makes its position vary according to the type of paper sheets, in a cassette housing part and a cassette, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Each of safe cassettes 20-30, in a state of being taken out of a device body, opens an on-off cover of the cassette body and performs what with taking out the required bills and what with charging them classified by note value, at need. A guide pin 210 as a guide part is projectingly installed in an outer surface of one side wall of the cassette body, while in each of cassette housing parts 16-19 inside the device body corresponding to this pin, there is provided with one guide plate 211 as a guide part. With this constitution, even if a wrong safe cassette in bill type tries to be inserted into these cassette housing parts 16-19, a notch guide part of the guide plate 211 and a position of the guide pin 210 are not accorded with each other, whereby the insertion of this wrong safe cassette is checked in the midway, thus complete setting is made unperformable.
