PURPOSE:To effectively utilize wind energy by obtaining DC voltage from wind energy and driving a storage pump with DC voltage under control of an inverter so as to enable a pumping up plant to be operated suitably in accordance with variation in wind power. CONSTITUTION:A brushless synchronizing generator 6 which constitutes a wind power generator 5 is revolved by a wind mill 1. AC voltage generated from said wind power generator 5 in rectified by a rectifier 8 in the form of DC voltage and then sent to an inverter 9. The inverter 9 is controlled by a signal which is generated from a control means 12 in accordance with revolutional speed of the wind mill 1. An induction motor 11 which actuates a storage pump 14 is driven with the DC power which is generated from thus controlled inverter 9.
