PURPOSE:To prevent shock under vehicle speed limiting operation by providing means for performing open/close control of throttle valve and means for commanding suppression of opening of throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:Acceleration operating amount detecting means (a) will detect the operating amount of accelerator operating chip. Throttle control means (b) will perform open/close control of throttle valve with correspondence to the detected operating amount of accelerator operating chip. Vehicle speed detecting means (c) will detect the vehicle speed. Upon arriving of the detected vehicle speed to preset upper limit, throttle opening suppression control means (d) will command the throttle control means (b) to suppress the opening of throttle valve. Consequently, shock can be prevented completely under vehicle speed limiting operation.
