A device for winding up long flexible materials, such as electrical cables, ropes, fluid lines, or the like, consists of a drum (3) that is designed to gather the material through rotation around a geometric axle on the supporting pieces (9). The holders (8, 10) are positioned on both sides of the drum to prevent the material from slipping off the drum (3) during winding in the direction of the axle, whereby the first holder (8) on one side of the drum is positioned on the drum. In this device, the first holders (10) are arranged as such that they can shift between an active holding position, where they extend out past the drum's support pieces (9), and an inactive position, where they allow the coiled material to be taken off the drum (3) from this respective side. This is possible as the holders (10) are attached to a control (11) rotationally positioned around a geometric axle essentially parallel to the drum's geometric axle in relation to the drum's frame, which is designed, depending on which direction it is turned in relation to the drum's frame, to bring the holders (10) from the active position to the inactive position and vice-versa through said rotation.<IMAGE> |
