PURPOSE:To prevent copying sequence by cassette sheet from being deviated by detecting the correct insertion and traveling of a manually inserted sheet, operating a timer and ejecting the manually inserted sheet when copying is not started within the predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:When the insertion of a manually inserted sheet is detected with a microswitch MS1, the transfer paper feed by a cassette 2 is inhibited. Thence, if the manually inserted sheet travels correctly without biasing or the like, it is detected with a detector 30, and the manually inserted sheet stops just before the resist roller; at the same time, a timer is started. Unless copying paper is operated and copying is made on the manually inserted sheet via the roller 13 within the timer time, the roller 11 revolves reverse and the manually inserted sheet is ejected, whereby the deviation of copying sequence by the automatic paper feeding from the cassette is prevented. |
