<p>PURPOSE:To remove efficiently the varnish to be applied on the external connecting parts of a ballast for discharge lamp without using a sealing medium and a brush by a method wherein the external connecting parts are deformed by bending after being impregnated with the varnish. CONSTITUTION:A varnish impregnation treatment is performed on the exposing terminal plates 1 of the ballast for discharge lamp along with the ballast, and after that, the external connecting parts 1' of the varnish-coated terminal plates 1 are pressed by the top and bottom forces and are deformed by bending. Hereby varnish coat films 2 to be fixed by drying on the external connecting parts crack and are peeled from the terminal plates 1. Moreover, the small pieces of the varnish to be peeled from the terminal plates can be easily removed by sucking with compressed air and a pump.</p> |
