The present invention relates to a self-contained assembly intended for carrying out the suction and the removal of mucus contained in the nasal fossae or adenoid fossae of young children or patients suffering from infectious or non-infectious rhinitis. According to the characteristic of the invention represented in Figure 1, the invention comprises a partial vacuum source 2, a container for receiving the mucus 1, a partial vacuum control means 7, and an olive-shaped end-piece 10 used for the extraction of the mucus.
