<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption and to improve control precision by controlling the ambient temperature of a high-frequency oscillator through a regulator which is connected thermally to the high-frequency oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A pre-regulator 3 increases its output voltage V1 more and more on the basis of the output of a temperature sensor 2 as the ambient temperature of the high-frequency oscillator in a housing 1 is higher and higher. A main regulator 4 which applies a constant voltage V2 to the Gunn diode in the housing 1 increases in power consumption to increase in heating value as the voltage V1 is higher and higher, and is fitted in the housing 1. Therefore, the heating value of the main regulator is larger and larger as the ambient temperature of the high-frequency oscillator in the housing 1 is lower and lower than reference temperature, and the housing 1 is heated so that the ambient temperature becomes equal to the reference temperature.</p> |
