PURPOSE:To suppress over-torque and prevent slip and lateral slip by controlling the speed change by the opening degree signal of an accelerator during the time when a car travels on a curved slope, thus securing the speed change control over the second speed without realizing the shift down, even if the accelerator is excessively stepped down. CONSTITUTION:When car speed is within a specific range, the output signals S1 and S2 of an inclination-angle detector 10 and a revolution angle detector 30 for a steering wheel are input into a controller 40. Said controller 40 judges, from the both signals S1 and S3, if a car travels on a curved slope or not. Therefore, when the traveling on the curved slope is judged, the controller 40 outputs a speed change control signal S4 so that the speed change state at that time is maintained when the opening degree signal S2 of an accelerating pedal 21 is within the range where a speed change means 50 is shift-down- operated. |
