The invention relates to a contact pin arrangement (2) in the case of which the contact pin (4) is arranged directly in an insertion sleeve (6) such that it can be displaced longitudinally, so that it is possible to obviate a separate retaining sleeve, which was previously normal. This reduces on the one hand the number of components and on the other hand the number of contact points. In addition, this results in simplification during the assembly of the contact pin arrangement (2). A major advantage of the new contact pin arrangement (2) is also seen in the fact that only the actual contact pin (4) is replaced in the event of damage or wear, while all the other parts remain usable over a long life. A NiBe alloy is proposed as a corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant and easily machinable material for the contact pin (4) and the insertion sleeve (6), which alloy is coated, for example non-electrically, with nickel, the coating of the contact pin (4) having a lower hardness than that of the insertion sleeve (6) so that the contact pin deliberately becomes a part which is subject to wear. <IMAGE>
