摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of any damage due to contact of an injection pad with a shaft on a bearing surface, by forming a projection, being projected higher than a surface inclusive of a fluid injection nozzle, in a peripheral part of the fluid injection nozzle of the injection pad in a hydrostatic bearing. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2 is set up in a housing 1 of a linear guide mechanism, and plural injection pads 3 installed between an inner wall surface of the housing and an outer circumferential surface of the shaft 2. A fluid injection nozzle 13 for generating static pressure is formed in a central part of the injection pad 3, while in the periphery, there is formed with a projection 12 being projected higher than a rising surface 11 inclusive of the fluid injection nozzle 13. Therefore, during assemblage of the linear guide mechanism or its application, even if the shaft 2 is jolted, contact between the rising surface 11 or a bearing surface of the injection pad 3 and the shaft 2 is checked by the projection 12, thus any drop in bearing performance is prevented from occurring.
