<p>A germicidal and purifying agent for preparing drinking water to be used for removing turbidity of, and sterilizing, processed water in outdoors or under the circumstances of drinking water shortage, which agent comprises acidic additives containing as major components many metallic and non-metallic salts obtained by dissolving vermiculite formed by weathering of mica minerals, or soils formed by weathering of vermiculite, in an aqueous solution of an inorganic acid.</p> |
