PURPOSE:To prevent the omission of an errorneous part by checking a word before it is made into a sentence whenever the characters of one word are inputted, and making it into text after an error is checked. CONSTITUTION:Characters inputted through a keyboard 1 are provisionally stored in an input memory part 21. When a blank is inputted, the stored contents so far are recognized as one word, and temporarily registered in a word checking part 22. It compares said contents with a previously registered alphabet word. When an error is present, said part 22 outputs an error output 201, and makes an error output part 24 issue an error message 202 and a display part 22 display it. An operator inputs again a corrected character according to the display. Where no error exists in the registered content or where the error is correced by correcting work, the word checking part 22 outputs the registered content to a text processing part 25, and causes the display part 26 to display said content with the aid of a sentence output 203.
