LATCH OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE FOR PUSHER FOR ROLL CHANGING IN ROLLING MILL

PURPOSE:To increase the possible quantity of roll shifting allowing the retreat of a pusher bar while a latch is held open. CONSTITUTION:A latch opening and closing lever 27 tilts vertically around a fulcrum shaft 28 when a lever driving cylinder 31 is driven to extend or contract. The latch 14 turns and attains the open state in which said latch is disconnected from the latch 15 of a roll assembly when the cylinder 31 is driven to extend. A claw part 24 of the latch 14 slides on the top surface of the lever 27 when a pusher bar 11 is retreated in this state in an arrow X direction. The latch 14 retreats therefore while maintaining the open state. The possible quantity of the roll shifting can be thereby increased.
