PURPOSE:To enable clear determination of a buried object detected to be a long-sized one, by including a main memory for memorizing a reflection echo together with positional information, a control computing section, a submemory for memorizing the results of addition therefrom and a display section. CONSTITUTION:A probe 10 which transmits a radio wave to somewhere 22 underground and receives the reflection echo from a buried object 3 performs a reciprocative inspection zigzag and the position thereof is detected with a position detector 13. A main memory 16 is provided to memorize the positional information detected by the detector 13 and the reflection echo received by the probe 10 and a control computing section 17 to call the positional information and the reflection echo from a memory 16 and process them. The computing section 17 has a function of selecting the equal distance linearly from the start point of the reciprocative inspection of the probe 10 from the positional information called to add up reflection echoes at each equal distance position. The results of the addition are memorized and stored into a submemory 18 as image information and CRT displayed 20. Thus, the image of a target long-sized buried object can be displayed quickly and stably regardless of any point even with a locally small echo intensity. |
