PURPOSE:To simplify a treating stage by feeding night soil from a sand sedimentation receiving tank through a crusher to a centrifugal dehydrator, transferring the dehydrated filtrate produced thereby to a biological treating stage and generated excess sludge to the above described dehydrator, and drying and incinerating generated dehydrated cake. CONSTITUTION:Night soil is transferred from a sand sedimentation receiving tank through a crusher to a centrifugal dehydrator, and dehydrated filtrate generated in the centrifugal dehydrator is fed to a biological treating stage. Excess sludge generated therefrom is settled gravitationally and concentrated. Obtd. concentrated sludge is returned to the above described centrifugal dehydrator and dehydrated by >=3,500 G centrifugal force. Generated dehydrated cake from the centrifugal dehydrator is dried and incinerated or transformed to fertilizer. As the result, the treating stage is simplified and the installation cost is reduced remarkably. >=90% rate of removal for fibrous substance is attained and low water content of sludge which has not been obtd. by the prior process is obtd. simultaneously. |
