A device is described for reducing fuel consumption and pollutants from the exhaust of an internal combustion engine provided with an injection system. The device comprises a mixing-tube nozzle, arranged in the air intake pipe of the engine downstream of the throttle valve, for introducing additional air, a regulator for the supply of additional air, controlled by the vacuum prevailing upstream of the throttle valve, and an additional-air supply line connected to the crank case and leading via the regulator into the mixing-tube nozzle. By introducing additional air into the air intake pipe via the mixing- tube nozzle, the main air flow is swirled and mixed with the oil vapours stemming from the crank case, more complete combustion thereby being achieved.

|
