PURPOSE:A cosmetic, obtained by incorporating a specific amount of a polyhydric alcohol having three or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule thereof with inorganic powder, capable of eliminating the stickiness and poor compatibility and imparting moisture to the skin and having rich feeling and good affinity for the skin. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic obtained by incorporating 12-40wt%, preferably 15-40wt% one or two or more of polyhydric alcohols having three or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule thereof, e.g. glycerol, diglycerol, triglycerol, glucose, maltose, fructose, sorbitol or erythritol, with 1-20wt%, preferably 3-20wt% inorganic powder, e.g. titanium oxide, kaolin, silica, zinc flower, calcium carbonate, talc or mica. |
