摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the extending part of a work from being damaged by the excess radiation beam penetrating through the processing part of the work by attaching a radiation beam absorptive material to the position of the work extending part on the rear side of the processing part of the work where said part faces the transmission path of the radiation beam then piercing the processing part. CONSTITUTION:A clip 6 is attached to the position corresponding to the hole 8 of the extending part 4 formed by folding back on the rear side of the processing part 2 in the case of piercing the hole 8 to the work, for example, a bumper 1 made of PP resin for a vehicle. The clip 6 is so positioned that the coating surface of zinc phosphate 7 coated as the radiation beam absorptive material to the clip faces the processing part 2, then the laser light 3 is irradiated on the part 2. The excess laser light 3 diffused by penetrating through the cutting part of the part 2 during piercing of the hole 8 by the laser light 3 is absorbed by the coating surface of the zinc phosphate 7. The extending part 4 is thus prevented from being damaged by the excess laser light.
