PURPOSE:To form in circular shape by cutting the bar like plastic material and to enable the formation of a metallic ring at high speed by forming in circular ring the bar material inserted into a forming groove by the rotation of a core roll and forming roll. CONSTITUTION:The bar 15 material which is formed in the shape of the necessary metallic ring 6 is prepared in advance and that which is formed in plastic shape by inserting it into a heating furnace and by heating inside a cylinder 11 is fed by a roll and inserted into the forming groove 7 of a forming roll 3 by passing through a material cutter 13 from a material inlet port 12. It is then formed in circular ring shape by surrounding the outer peripheral part of the core roll 2. In this case the cutting size is set so that the bar 15 material cut by the material cutter 13 overlaps slightly the head part 15a becoming in annular shape and the tail part 15b. The overlapping part of this material is formed with pressing in the shape of the metallic ring in the forming groove 7 by the joining rotary force of the forming roll 3 at the left part and core roll 2 and simultaneously the both end parts of the ring is press-fitted.
