PURPOSE:To make it possible to make a hole of a desired diameter and to discharge machining chips well by making the electrode eccentrically adjustable in relation to a rotor with an electrode for electric discharge machining. CONSTITUTION:In electric discharge machining, a workpiece is fixed on the jet box 4 in a machining vessel 5, and when a machining electrode 1 is made to approach to the top of the workpiece and rotated together with the rotation of a motor, a round hole is made after the eccentric rotation of the electrode 1. In varying and adjusting the size of this work hole, since the turning of a feed screw 28 after loosening a clamper 21 and lock bolt 29 enables an electrode holder to move back and forth, i.e., in the direction of A along a dovetail groove, the eccentric quantity of electrode 1 is adjusted being verfied with scales, and the clamper 21 and lock bolt 29 are tightly fixed. A guide 18 is performed by rotation of the elevating motor. Since the diameter of the work hole can, thus, be varied by adjusting the eccentric quantity of the electrode, operation is simple, and chips produced during machining due to the eccentric rotation of the electrode can be discharged well.
