PURPOSE:To enable a line in a wiring to be simply and easily searched for without stopping an apparatus in operation by connecting a relay device to the terminal end of the line to be searched for and visually observing the deflection of the pointer of an ammeter on the side of a power supply. CONSTITUTION:A relay unit 2 in which a repetitive operation time is adjustable and a variable resistor R are connected in parallel in a relay device 1. The variable resistor R and a contact 3 are connected in series and the relay operation of the relay unit 2 is converted to the opening/closing operation of the contact 3. The terminal end of the relay device 1 is connected to two of three- phase lines R, S and T, for example R and S. Since a switch 7 with an ammeter is connected to a wiring including the three-phase lines on the side of a power supply, it can be detected that the two lines are in the same system wiring by observing the deflection of the pointer of the ammeter of the switch 7.
