PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency of a variable delivery pump as well as facilitate the fluid piping layout through eliminating the need of a fluid passage particularly for controlling the pump by controlling a variable delivery means in response to the differential pressure across a variable throttle which is interposed within the discharge-side fluid passage in the pump. CONSTITUTION:In the case where the fluid discharged from a variable delivery pump 100 is to be transmitted through a fluid passage 200, in which a switching valve 301 is interposed, to a driven actuator 300, such as the power cylinder of a power steering system, a variable throttle 400 is interposed somewhere along the fluid passage 200. This variable throttle 400 is controlled in response to the pressure Pi present downstream from said variable throttle 400. In addition, a variable delivery means 500 for the pump 100 is provided with No.1 and No.2 driving pistons 501, 602, and each of the two pistons 501, 502 is driven by the working fluid passing through a pressure detecting means 600 which is controlled in response to the differential pressure across the variable throttle 400. Thereby, the discharge quantity of the pump 100 can be controlled to increase the decrease. |
