摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To always obtain a predetermined supercharge characteristic for a change of the atmospheric condition, by calculating charging efficiency through weight of an intake flow and an engine speed while controlling a waste gate valve so as to continually set the charging efficiency to a fixed value and controlling the supercharge pressure. CONSTITUTION:When a supercharge is started by driving a supercharger 1 with exhaust energy, a control unit 21, inputting to its charging efficiency arithmetic part 22 the signals of weight G of an intake flow measured by an air flow meter 4 and an engine speed N, calculates charging efficiency. And in a stage of low charging efficiency, the control unit 21, inputting an off-signal from a comparing decision part 23 to a solenoid valve 16 to open a port 16d and introducing the atmospheric pressure into a diaphragm chamber 13a in an actuator 13, closes a waste gate valve 14. On the contrary, when the charging efficiency reaches its maximum value, the control unit 21, controlling the solenoid valve 16 to open its port 16c, opens the waste gate valve 14 to decrease the charging efficiency.</p>
