Draughtboard which can be converted into a chessboard. Draughtboard which is noteworthy in that it has a playing surface 1 with embossed squares 2 and 3 provided with means for self-centring of the pieces with magnetic attraction, and in that the edges of the holding frame 6 are provided at their upper part with movable linear structures 7 intended to mask the end rows in order to convert the draughtboard into a chessboard. This invention is of interest to games manufacturers, particularly manufacturers of wooden games. <IMAGE>
