The invention relates to an arrangement for damping electrical oscillations in high-voltage windings of transformers, inductor coils and the like. The arrangement comprises a damper winding, consisting of x partial windings (where x is an even number) which are connected in pairs with RC elements connected between them so that the voltages which are induced therein at the operating frequency are cancelled out and the voltages induced by the intrinsic forms are added. The partial windings are in each case connected at one end to a point of common potential. In order to damp the first to the 2<n>th intrinsic form (n = 1, 2, 3 ...) there are two 2<n+1> partial windings which, numbered from top to bottom, are selected in accordance with the table in Claim 1. <IMAGE>
