<p>PURPOSE:To enable numbers of sheet materials to be fed in a simple manner making operation easy by providing a hand feeding device for sheet materials in a copying machine and the like with a hand feeding mechanism which makes the hand feed of numbers of sheet materials possible. CONSTITUTION:A hand feeding device includes a hand feeding roller 25 which feeds transfer paper 17 set at a feed position, a hand feed tray 29 which can be displaced both to a position facing the feeding roller 25 as shown by a solid line and to a position parting from the feeding roller as shown by a two dot chain line, and a hand feed intermediate plate 302 which is movably installed in a hand feeding table 30. Moreover, the hand feeding device is provided with a spring arm section which presses the hand feed intermediate plate 302 against the feeding roller 25 with pressure, and a gear which acts as a change-over means which connects or disconnects the spring arm section with the hand feed intermediate plate 302 linked with the displacement of the hand feed tray 29. Accordingly, when the hand feed tray 29 is displaced to the position facing the feeding roller 25, numbers of sheet materials can be set because the hand feed intermediate plate 302 is normally separated from the feeding roller 25.</p> |
