PURPOSE:To simplify the key operations by changing a normal distribution curve into a graph with use of a standard deviation value obtained from the input value as well as the mean value of the input value based on the X-axis and Y-axis ranges set previously. CONSTITUTION:A control part 20 gives the arithmetic data to an arithmetic circuit 21 in response to the key operation at a key input part 10 and also gives the address data and a read/write command to a memory part 24. The part 24 contains a DS memory 31 for single variable statistics, a range memory 33, an X memory 34 for X-axis data, a Y memory 35 for Y-axis data, a normal distribution memory 36 and an arithmetic memory 37. The circuit 21 calculates the mean value of the input value and a standard deviation obtained from the input value and decides the normal distribution value within a screen of a display part 26 from the mean values of the part 24 and said input value and standard deviation. This decided distribution value is displayed on the screen of the part 26.
