PURPOSE:To take a focused picture by forming a control means for emitting the 2nd illuminating means when both the 1st and 2nd light emission enable signals are outputted and making a focus detecting means execute the detection of focus status. CONSTITUTION:Receiving an electric charge completion signal, the camera side outputs a light emission start signal through a terminal ST1, so that a trigger circuit 36 is triggered, an SCR 38 is connected and a flash discharging tube 40 starts to emit light on the basis of the energy of a main capacitor 28. The light emission start signal is also inputted to a light emission start monitor circuit 42, and receiving the light emission start signal, the circuit 42 closes an AND circuit 34 to interrupt the transmission of the charge completion signal to a terminal ST2. When a photometric circuit LMC on the camera side detects the attainment of proper exposure, a light emission stop signal is outputted from the camera side to a terminal ST3 to stop the light emission of a discharge tube 40. When the camera side decides the necessity of auxiliary light, an auxiliary light emission signal is inputted to a terminal ST4, a transistor 46 is connected and an auxiliary light LED 48 is illuminated. |
