AUTOMATIC COATING DEVICE FOR GLASS VESSEL

PURPOSE:To coat a glass vessel surely and evenly by providing a rotary head in the form of a cylindrical vessel having a liq. nozzle to a high-speed revolving shaft which is arranged downward above a glass vessel moving on a conveyor and atomizing a coating liq. toward the outer surface of the glass vessel from the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A downward holding member 7 is provided to a carriage 3 which reciprocates along a cross beam 6 above a conveyor 1. An air motor 9 with a revolving shaft 10 directed downward and which is rotated by the compressed air supplied from an air hose 8 is equipped to the member 7. More than one rotary head 13 in the form of a cylindrical vessel having plural almost horizontal ejection ports is provided to a shaft 11 connected to the revolving shaft 10 through a coupling 12 at a height corresponding to the outer surface of a glass vessel 2 on the conveyor 1. A flexible feed tube 15 is held by the holding member 7 not to disturb the rotation of the rotary head 13 and a coating liq. is supplied to the upper-end opening of the rotary head 13 from the tube 15.
